Accidental bend.

I slipped on wet concrete with my iPhone XR in my pocket and it shattered the front, back and even slightly bent the phone (even with a case one) i have tried to get it fixed multiple times now but can’t seem to while the phone is slightly bent. I had just left it and assumed there was nothing I could do but then I’ve just found out that apple can actually replace bent phone because iPhones are prone to bending. Is this the case? Would love to hear back thanks.
