Microphone wouldn’t work.
My iphone Xs mic wouldn’t work with any apps eg.(messenger, snapchat, whatsapp, voice memos etc.) However, it works just fine when i make regular calls or use the default video camera. When I use my airpods i can still talk using these apps. But it still wouldn’t let me record with airpods. Sometimes the microphone issue occurs whilst using airpods too. But my airpods are working fine with any other device.
things I’ve tried to fix this problem:
- restart
- forced restart
- reset settings twice
- deleted and redownloaded the apps.
- updated ios software
help! Should i erase my phone? I’m not sure that’ll actually help.
