what is the difference between hindi and hindi latin keyboards in ipad

The Hindi keyboard produces Hindi in Devanagari script. The Hindi Latin keyboard produces Latin script and in the press/hold popup menus it seems to have accented characters needed for Hindi latin transliteration.
