Apple Watch Activity not syncing..again

My Series 2 towards the end of its life with me stopped syncing my activity to my iPhone 11 Pro. I would regularly have to reset both to try and get it to sync again, or I would have to re-pair the watch which would cause all activity to disappear. I finally upgraded thinking that that was the issue. Not even a MONTH into this brand new watch and it’s happening again.

Heres the steps I have tried:

-Changing the move goal.

-Turning airplane mode on and off.

-Restarting both watch and iPhone.

-Resetting sync data. (Side note, when you press this button it doesn’t seem to do anything at all, not even a prompt, but I was told to try it out)

As you can see I have tried all steps short or re-pairing as losing data drives me crazy and I’m pretty tired of the watch not doing the only thing that I use it for. If anyone has a suggestion or if someone from Apple could CREATE a solution for this problem that has been going on for years, that would be great! I’m getting desperate.

Hello armd,

We understand that your Activity app is not syncing data as expected with your Apple Watch, and we'd like to get you pointed in the right direction for a resolution. Based on the steps you've already completed we do believe that re-pairing your device is the next best step, however, this does not mean you'll have to lose data. Learn about Apple Watch backups here: Back up your Apple Watch

Once you're ready, we recommend updating all of your devices, then re-pairing your Watch. All needed steps can be found below:

Update your Apple Watch

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch

Set up and pair Apple Watch with iPhone

We hope that this helps..

Take care.

Thank you bailier, unfortunately I did try to re-pair and the app still isn’t working. Over a week now. I find it strange that Apple hasn’t even addressed this issue when from everything I have read it has been occurring since the first watch release.

When I’m back and forth with Apple support I have to list out the steps I have taken for them as well and they can’t seem to figure it out either.
