Dual boot

MacBook Pro SSD APFS running OS X 10.14 if I Install OS X 10.15 to be able to dual boot will I lose all my data?

Yes, you can dual boot Mojave and Catalina provided you understand a little about how APFS can deal with "partitions." Add, delete or erase APFS volumes in Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Disk Utility User Guide.

Thanks, I understand dual boot but saw something that led me to think I might lose all my date/files when I load the second OS. Do you know if there is any truth to that?
