No email option on Share tab in Photos

I am not able to send photos from my Photos on my MacBook Pro. The email address in extensions is greyed out. I have enabled my email account in Preferences. Is there something else I can try?

You are using Mail, but did you enable it as the default Mail reader? This has to be done in the "Mail > Preferences > General"; switch the "Default Mail reader" menu to "Mail".

Do you see Mail among the Share options in Finder? That would tell us whether you have a Photos problem or a Mail issue.

On Catalina 10.15.6 I do see Mail in Extensions in System Preferences, and I'm pretty sure it was there in 10.15.5.

Are you able to create and send new mail manually in Mail?

Are you using Apple's builtin Mail application or something else?

What version of the system are you running on your MacBook Pro?

Where are you finding "email address in extensions" greyed out?

Yes, I am using Apple's built in Mail application.

I am using Catalina version 10.15.5

In the Share menu in Extensions in Preferences...in fact I do not see not Apple Mail now that I look again only Chrome.

Is there another place I can look?
