Question

Mail is suddenly on a separate screen and no longer on my desktop

Previously Mail opened on my regular desktop screen. Now it seems to be on a separate screen and I have to toggle over to it. Why? Also, my emails used to open as I scrolled through unopen emails. Now I have to click on them separately to open. Why and can I change back to previous?

With the Mail app open Control-click on the Mail icon in your Dock and then click on Options

from the submenu that opens check to see if Mail has been Assigned to a particular Desktop,

if it has then select None.

As for the scrolling issue you have I have no idea..
