Missing magnifying bubble when editing text

When I hold my thumb down on an input text field, there is no magnifying bubble anymore. My thumb is covering the view and I cannot scroll within the text. If I manage to see the cursor it lands elsewhere half of the time. Or even more annoying, selects entire words and I simply cannot get it in between falsely joint words.

Absolute rubbish.

The magnifying bubble was an Apple feature that differentiated it from the competition. Now editing falsely typed text is much more difficult. I wad a hard core Samsung buyer swapped to Apple recently. I was expecting much more from Apple on user experience design. This reminds me when Windows was removing the start button, this mistake is on the same level. Very amateur whoever did this.

if you hold your finger down, the cursor will grow in size and you can drag it around. You can also hold the space bar and then it'll sort of turn into a track pad and you can place the cursor anywhere you like. Both of these IMO are better than the old magnifying glass
