Instagram front facing camera squished

Hi I just bought a iPhone 11 Pro max 5 days ago and when i am sending a video to someone on instragram dms and video my face, then change the camera around, when the video plays the front facing camera is squished making my face look longer and skinnier. Is there a problem with my phone or my instagram? I tried restarting my phone and then i deleted instagram and re downloaded it but i still have the problem.
