USB Issues + using Arduino (driver extensions not loaded)

Hi all,

I have been using an Arduino Uno on the MacBook (2018) for a while and had no issues until recently. Plugging in the Arduino doesn't show up anymore.

The Arduino Uno is connected via a multiport adapter and I had a couple of USB power issues but I have had that happen before and it usually works after I resolved the Arduino board wrong connection that caused power issues.

I read that FTDI chip driver could cause issues and had it removed but it didn't change anything.

I also noticed that in Systems Information> Software Extensions, a bunch of the AppleUSB driver extensions including DriverKit-AppleUSBSerial and DriverKit-AppleUSBFTDI are not loaded.

If it is an issue with the driver extensions, how do I fix it? Or does anyone have a similar experience with this and know how to fix this?

Thank you!

Julian
