In-app purchase still there after refund

I accidentally bought 50 dollars worth of cod points the other day, i immediately requested a refund and got the message that my refund had gone through. I purchased this with my debit card, so I'm assuming its going to take a bit to process the money. I opened the app today and to my surprise the Points are still there. Can i use those points or will the refund be cancelled?
