My iMac hard drive got partially reformatted and it won’t start up right.

I already repaid it with disk utility and redownloaded the os and still has issues

Help. Do I Need a New Hard Drive? My Apple iMac refuses to start up properly. I tried various ways to check for faults on the drives (ran first aid checks all ok) I reinstalled Big Sur OS (3 times) but the progress bar still sticks at 2/3rds on loading. Start/Boot up problems Hi, i have purchased my iMac 27inch roughly 8 months since and my computer is unable to boot up. I have tried few options: command option, R,P and holding down shift key. Resetting the macOs and still my computer is unable to start up. What r some other steps i could take to have my mac up and running again and is my mac still under apple's warranty?

Broken iMac After having set our Mac back to factory settings (not because of problems but to give to someone new), it now won’t start up and instead comes up with this message once loaded. It also takes a very long time to get to this point as the loading bar is so slow

Erase it. A hard disk that has been formatted incompletely will not work.

When you reformat the drive you need to open Disk Utility and go to the View Menu and select Show All Devices and then pick the top item showing under Internal so as to clear all the partitions.
