Using the scrollwheel on my mouse in Aperture 3

Hello all,

quick question:

I used to use Aperture 2 and when viewing my library in thumbnail format I was able to scroll up and down using the scrollwheel on my mouse. This doesn't work in Aperture 3. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to enable it? It was very convenient.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Scroll wheel on my MS Wireless Mouse is working in A3, when in Browser view.

I am not sure what mouse you have but mine does this a lot. I called apple and they told me to disconnect the mouse and rub it briskly on my short for about 15 seconds. Then plug it back in. This works for me

My Apple Mighty Mouse scroll wheel will sometimes become erratic. This happens in more programs than just Aperture. I think it is because there may be dirt or dust in it. When this happens, I take a slightly damp cloth and vigorously rub it in all directions while keeping pressure on the scroll wheel. This usually fixes it but if not, I push to wheel down and blast a bit of compressed air around it. The mouse will then operate for a few weeks without problem.

Hey thanks for your help, but I don't use the apple mouse, just a regular scroll wheel. And actually, I went and reread my original post and realized that i had made a mistake. It actually scrolls fine when looking at the thumbnails, its when i've double clicked on a photo to enlarge it that it won't allow me to scroll through the photos (I have to use the arrow keys on the keyboard) : (
I know for certain that in aperture 2 I could use the scroll wheel even when the photos were fully enlarged. Have you noticed the same problem?

Once again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have a similar problem.
In Split View, my scroll bar dosen't work (whit the scrollwheel and with drag it) if I selected a thumb.
If no thumb selected I can use the scroll bar...
This issue has appeared only little days ago.
