Robo Call for compromised iCloud Scam

I've received a robocall 3 times in a row telling me to stay on the line because my apple ID has been compromised. All three have different digits for the last 4. I stayed on the line one time and was told by someone with a VERY heavy asian accent that there has been suspicious activity coming in from Russia, Albania and Germany. After giving me her name, Amy Burnett and her badge number, she told me to go to my computer and to log onto *****. I told her I would just call Apple directly so she told me to go ahead and log on to Apple.com and then support. There were several articles there that had the name and badge number she gave me. After I told her that this did not prove who she was because anyone could get that information, she told me to go %&*k myself and hung up. Pretty sure it was a scam. Since the other posts are pretty old, I'm adding a new post about it. Anyone else having this problem? How did you get them to stop calling? I just got a 4th call! How did they get my phone number!?

Apple does not make such calls.

The criminals did not get you number ..... they simply call hundreds of numbers at a time, and hope for a victim at the other end.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
