I neither use nor know how to access the iCloud and me.com alias Apple ID addresses, so if something is communicated to those addresses I will never see them. I want to delete them in order to prevent this potential problem but apparently cannot. Why?
Have you tried adding an iCloud email address to your email program?
You can't remove/change @iCloud.com, @me.com or @mac.com aliases because Apple won't allow that.
No, Eric. The reason I asked about removing the me.com and iCloud aliases is because I do not want more email addresses. Thank you for your response, though.
