Help me understand why I an't purchase content from the Apple TV app. You can purchase content on another supported device to watch it in the Apple TV app on your Amazon Fire TV device and how to do this?

Unfortunately, there is currently no agreement between Amazon and Apple about the use of each other’s Stores for in-app purchases. The workaround is to do the purchasing/renting/subscribing on a different device, then watch the content for which the transaction is already done, on the intended device (Fire TV in your case).
