Can you download free music during the Free Month Trial and keep it after the trial is over and you decide to cancel before being charged, or will you be charged or not able to access the music when the free month is over?

Apple Music is like a rental agreement. If and when an Apple Music subscription terminates, all your rights to access the music you acquired while you subscribed (whether during the free trial period or not) terminates.
