do you still support Pc's for airport express?

I have an apple iphone, subscribe to apple music and use itunes - why cant i connect my pc to my airport express?

Come on Apple, i am seriously considering jumping off the Apple band wagon - you take my money but offer no support!

You can still connect a PC to the Express by ethernet or wireless.


What Windows version are you running?


What are you trying to do and how do you want to use the Express?


What model is the Express?


How is the Express configured?


If you plug the Express by ethernet to the PC what happens?

Networks can do strange things. Apple Bonjour can fail to start.. go and check your computer is running the bonjour service.


BTW if the you in the title means Apple.. firstly this is a user to user forum.. Apple does not answer.

If you mean does Apple still actively support windows in updates to software like airport utility.. the answer is NO.. resoundingly NO. Apple pays as little interest in MS as possible.


NOTE also Apple stopped production of airport routers over two years ago so they have very little interest in Airport Express period on any platform. It is in the past. You cannot sell the past.. only the future.

1) Something is wrong with the PC

2) Something is wrong with the AirPort Express

3) Something is wrong with both the PC and the AirPort Express


If you have other devices that can connect to the Express, then something is wrong with your PC

If none of your devices can connect to the Express, then something is wrong with the AirPort Express

It is unlikely.....but possible.....that there is something wrong with both the PC and the AirPort Express


So, if you want to investigate things, we will need to ask a number of questions. The answers will seem dumb and simple to you because you are there and you can see your network. We are not there and we cannot see your network, plus we cannot read your mind, so things that are obvious to you are totally unknown to us.


Let us know if you want to proceed. We are not Apple. We are users......just like you.....who have volunteered their time to try to help. Apple is not here, they will not answer.
