Recieve verification codes on a different number - text

i travel and when I do I forward my north american permanent phone number to an overseas phone number.

I do this by putting applying call forwarding in my settings on my iphone and then removing and putting in the new SIM Card for the overseas phone.

Because i do this, i cant receive my "verification code" texts on my north american number.

Is there a way to forward the SMS verifications code that are coming to my north america automatically to my overseas number on my iPhone with the latest iOS?
