Help with Macbook Air a1466 not charging

I have been having issues with my mac for a little while now. I have gone through like 4 chargers now, and on the newest charger purchased Jan. 14 2020 my mac stopped turning on all together. I just replaced the battery and now it will turn on but the charger is blinking green and not charging. I don't know what to try now cause I really don't want to have to get a whole other charger again. Please help me, I need this laptop for school.

Hi Narah_Oona,

We appreciate you consulting with Apple Support Communities about this charging issue you're experiencing on your MacBook Air. We'd love to help sort this out.

If you've not had an opportunity to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) of your MacBook since replacing the battery, we can recommend doing so now.

The SMC is a feature of your Mac that regulates power delivery, so resetting it can help resolve unexpected charging behavior. The following guide has detailed instructions to help with resetting:

How to reset the SMC of your Mac

If you find that the behavior persists, will it be possible to test charging while using another power adapter? This can help to isolate the root cause.

We're here for you if you've got any questions.

Have a great day!
