There is no recovery process for older security methods. If you can't answer the security questions and can't get an email, you have permanently lost access to that Apple ID.

That sounds like you created a new Apple ID rather than change the email address for your Apple ID account. All purchases made from the iTunes & App Store are tied forever to the account that they were purchased with. If you see this request when updating apps the only option is to delete those apps and repurchase them.


If this isn’t the problem please provide more detail about when you are asked for the old password.
