I’m wondering why I can’t purchase anything from the store...

It looks like pure getting an error code stating "Your purchase could not be completed" when attempting to purchase something from iTunes.


First you may want to ensure that your billing information is up-to-date, and that there is no unpaid balance in the App Store or iTunes Store:

If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store


If your purchase is still declined after following those steps, you may need to contact your financial institution. You can also reach out to iTunes support for further assistance.
