Stop sharing an Apple ID with him. Apple IDs are personal and should not be shared, any more than you would share a toothbrush. See the 4th answer here—>https://appleid.apple.com/faq/#!&page=faq
One of you should get their own Apple ID; then you can connect the accounts to share what you want to share using Family Sharing—>Family Sharing - Apple Support

Yep he is sharing my Apple ID because he couldn’t set up his own. It’s really annoying. I delete his photos on my phone and they delete on his too. I have an iPhone 10 he has a 6, and now all of a sudden I’m getting his messages. I don’t know what to do. Thank you Lawrence for your input. THIS SUCKS
You say that your husband cannot set up his own Apple ID. Why not? Is it because his iPhone says that he has run out of "new Apple ID creation" tries on his older phone? If this is the case, he can create a new Apple ID on any computer browser and then use that Apple ID on his phone.
That should get him out of your hair. iPhone-wise, that is.
