Hi, sunshinerutledge,

iMovie cannot share out (export) a looping movie. The looping feature only loops the movie during preview playback. When it loops it will loop all tracks in the movie simultaneously. The looping will not carry over to the exported movie. The movie will export without looping and if you want it to loop you would need to play it with a video player that has a looping playback feature like QuickTimePlayer.

You could shift-select all the photo clips as a range. Then Edit/Copy the selected clips as a range, and do multiple Edit/Paste . . . Paste . . . Paste . . . etc. of the clips in the timeline. Then when you share out you will get a repetitive looping of the video while the audio plays through.
