I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) running in Catalina 10.15.6 . After painstaking efforts, I have not been able to find AVB/EAV in order to enable the Audio/MIDI setup. I have followed the step to enable the AVB/EAV and after I do go through the process, there is no AVB/EAV for me to enable. I'm not new to Mac I need help in doing the necessary steps to enable this. Using Belkin thunderbolt 3 to Ethernet

Browse your network for an AVB device in Audio MIDI Setup on Mac
If the issue is still persisting, try performing an SMC reset.
How to reset the SMC of your Mac
If you are still unable to complete the setup, try adding another user, then test to see if the issue is resolved.
Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

The Belkin is actually a USB C --> Ethernet adapter and does not pass AVB.
I think Belkin may have a dock that is TB3/AVB compliant, but it is pricey.
Otherwise you need to use two dongles... Apple TB3 --> TB2 & Apple TB2 --> Ethernet for AVB.
