Can’t Cancel Full Subscription, Only Free Trial

I downloaded an Adobe Photoshop Express (free, no in-app purchases, I thought) from the Apple Store. Then I tried using it to edit a few photos. I wanted to clean off some lettering across my grandson’s photo, so I selected that tool, only to learn that it requires a subscription, I went ahead and signed up to use the tool. Only later, I learned it costs about $35 a year. I’m an old man living on a tight budget, so I want to cancel the subscription right away. I went my iPad Settings, then Subscriptions, and clicked on the subscription info, but it would only let me cancel the “3 day trial.” I want to cancel the whole subscription. What can I do? Wait 3 days till the full subscription kicks in? What if it doesn’t work then? Will I have to pay anyway? Please advise. I truly appreciate your help.

Apple usually considers all sales to be final. But, if you have a problem with a subscription or a purchase, see Subscriptions and Purchases https://support.apple.com/en-euro/billing. If you think you may be able to get a refund, then use the request a refund link. It will take you to Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple https://support.apple.com/en-euro/HT204084
