Type Japanese helf-width

I have a Mac Book Pro. I need to type in Japanese half-width. How do I do this?

Is it possible to buy a Mac Book Pro 16'' with a Japanese keyboard I live in the US, and I use Japanese to write emails and talk, I was wondering if I could order a Japanese style magic keyboard to switch from English and Japanese? It would look like this
