If you are buying from Apple online in the U.S., go to the following and look at the delivery estimates immediately below the "Select" buttons. They are currently showing August 13. Note that those estimates change with time and they also change depending on customization option that you choose. You can click the Select button and then choose any options and see an updated delivery estimate.

You are not speaking to Apple on these forums. We are all end users just like you. I just ordered 2 ea. 27" iMacs and my deliver (chose the free option ) is set for between Sept. 1-9. I suspect the wait for mine is due to how I customized it. Also In the online store it will provide the information you need and there is also a toll free number to call to assist you if you need it.
