Desktop - word
I want to take the files off of my desktop and put them in my microsoft word and save there.

Microsoft Word is an app not a storage space. You can move your documents off your desktop into any folder you create.

Microsoft Word is an application. It can create files, read files, edit and save changes to files. But you cannot put files into Word.
You may want to reply with more information about what it is that you are wanting to do. Also, more information about "my desktop" -- are you asking about a Windows computer, an Apple Mac desktop computer? Are you wanting to move Word files from one computer to another? etc., etc.
