My iPad won’t start it died this morning so I plugged it in for a few hours when I checked on it, it wouldn’t turn on so I checked the cord and block both work and I tried to force a restart and it still won’t turn on

The battery may have reached the end of its life. You should make an appointment at an apple store (if open in your area) or authorized service provider and have it checked out

If it’s only 7 months old then the replacement should fall under the first year’s warranty, Which is good news because it should not cost you anything.
It’s only like 7 months old and I got it brand new idk how the battery could be dead
