Most Apple devices come with a limited warranty and up to 90 days of complimentary support out of the box. If your device is eligible, you can buy an AppleCare+ plan or an AppleCare Protection Plan for additional coverage.


Here is how you can Buy an AppleCare plan.


here are the steps to buy an AppleCare plan for your watch after purchase

Online

  1. Head to Apple’s add AppleCare website
  2. Choose Apple Watch, then enter your serial number or sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Follow the prompts to purchase AppleCare within 60 days of buying your Apple Watch (you’ll need to complete a remote diagnostic)


By Phone

  1. Have proof of purchase available for your Apple Watch
  2. Call Apple Support at 800.275.2273 (800.APL.CARE)
  3. Ask to add AppleCare to your Apple Watch (you’ll need to complete a remote diagnostic)


In Store - may not be open near you

  1. Head to an Apple Store with your Apple Watch
  2. You’ll need to complete a visual inspection and have proof of purchase


please note that in most countries and regions, you can buy AppleCare+ within 60 days of your device purchase. In Japan, you can buy AppleCare+ within 30 days of your device purchase.

After this grace period, you will no longer be able to buy an AppleCare+ Plan
