Disable Audio Ducking for FaceTime on IPhone

Is there a way to stop FaceTime from lowering my system volume? Whenever I am on a FaceTime call with someone and I try to play a video or music, the sound is significantly lower (even with paired bluetooth headphones and the other person on mute). Does anybody have a solution for this? How come apple has never make the control center control media volume and the volume buttons control the call volume?

Please provide that update ASAP. The phone didn't always do this; the "feature" of lowering the volume of the song I'm listening to when I get a text message would be fine except my audio doesn't return to the normal volume after I've dismissed the notification. I want my phone to ring out loud so I can't just leave it on silent.

Please test new "features" more carefully before forced implementation!
