Forgot MacBook Pro password

Hi so I forgot my login screen password but unfortunately it’s not letting me have a choice to login through my Apple ID. Is there anyway to change the password? Could I possibly bring in my MacBook to an Apple store to change the password since the username is my name if I show my id?
