Change Default Destination of Airdrop Content - MacBook Air

Hi all,

Is it possible to change the destination folder of Airdropped content? For example, rather than them just going into the "Downloads" folder, I want them to be automatically placed into a sub folder specifically for Airdrops within the Download folder itself.

I have come across a couple solutions but they all require some kind of work around in which something else must be downloaded...not interested in placing any unnecessary installers on my device; have enough of those already lol

Thanks in advance!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14
