Hardware Cannot be Upgraded:

No: You cannot upgrade the hardware on your iPhone.


Software Can Be Upgraded:

But you can upgrade software, if and when an option. The advantage to that is all about Compatibility and Security & Privacy.

So, Two Major Steps: - Backup then Update


1. Backup First: Make a backup of your device using iCloud or your computer


2. Then, install the upgrade software the Software
