Location wrong when using google search on ipad

My iPad thinks I’m in the UAE when I’m actually in the UK. It’s fine with maps though. It all gets tricky whe a website takes me to a UK Facebook page for a site and all the script is in Arabic, which is not helpful. I’m also not interested in car dealerships in Abu Dhabi, holidays in Abu Dhabi etc.

By the way my wife bought a mini iPad, took the settings from her phone and it did the exact same thing?

Our VPN goes through London so it’s not that?

Help please I am baffled
