iMovie using original songs?
Can I use songs that I wrote / recorded / produced / own the copyright to and are already released on an album to make a video in iMovie?

Yes, you can use your own original songs in an iMovie project. Just import the song's audio track into iMovie. Dragging it in to the timeline of an iMovie project is probably the easiest way.
