battery connector MacBook Air 13" A1466

The connection the battery plugs into came separated from the motherboard. It is a small black piece of plastic.

Anyone have experience on how to fix this? I tried reseating it back where it was but it is no longer detected.

In this picture the part is right next to the finger. Probably was soldered?

MacBook Pro battery replacement didn't work I have an oldish 12" Macbook Pro A1708. It was having battery issues for a while - would say it was charged but then the battery would die after 5 minutes of use. After a while, it wouldn't even start up when plugged in to power - it just showed the dead battery icon on a black screen. So I bought a new battery and replaced the old one, but I'm still getting the same dead battery icon on the screen as if the battery was never replaced. Tried 2 different power supplies, so that's probably not the issue. It seems there's one of 4 possibilities: The replacement battery was no good. Unlikely, but possible. I installed it incorrectly. I think this is pretty unlikely too - I disconnected and reinstalled it again to be sure. There's some trick I'm unaware of to get the new battery to be recognized. There's a power management hardware issue that needs to be fixed. Any ideas or suggestions welcome! I don't think getting the unit serviced is an option since I don't want to put more money into it when they are going for around $250 on ebay. Thanks

Replacement battery in late 2011 MacBook Pro and Trac pad not working I read an older post that said the battery swelled which renders the trac pad useless.

Battery not charging and not detected Hi, I have a 2008 A1181 MacBook. It worked perfectly, with a working battery that lasted quite a while. Only one morning I found the laptop off, even though the battery was fully charged, and it wouldn't boot unless I used an adapter, to which I found out that the computer didn't even detect my battery. Or the X in the battery symbol. I put the battery in another MacBook and that works just as well with the battery, detects, and even charges it. I tried that MacBook's battery on my computer and it still doesn't detect or charge it. MagSafe only lights green + the computer immediately boots up. What just happened that caused my battery to not be detected overnight? Any answers are welcome.
