I have never been able to replicate folders and syncing using IMAP across systems.
iMac, iPhone, Macbook Air
I have read a few threads on this and found no clear answers so what is the best way to replicate all folders across all systems o that mail is synced across platforms?
All systems are using current software and all systems use Apple Mail.

IMAP should auto sunc, nothing for you to do, but if folders are On My Mac then those will not sync.
That is very very strange, login to your WebMail in a Browser on both & see what is or isn't there?
On the Mac is for sure is IMAP under the account name?
You have to initially create the same email account in your email client on each device accessing the IMAP account.

When I add or remove email on my iMac that is reflected on my iPad HOWEVER if I do the same on my iPad it is NOT reflected on my iMac??
I did set them up on both devices. It does work from the iMac TO the iPad, it just doesn't work from the iPad to the iMac. Thanks for your comment.
