Airpod Pro | Battery Pop Up Rarely Shows Up

Hi,

I recently got the airpod pro and I have been quite underwhelmed.

My biggest issue is that, battery status pop-up on the phone screen, which is supposed to show up once you open the charging case, rarely shows up. I would say it only shows up probably <30% of the time.

It's extremely frustrating, since there seems to be no other way to easily check battery status of the two earpods.

Can someone help me with this? Do others also have same experience?

Additionally, quite often, one of the earpods wont charge, if even they were inside the charging case and thus would get discharged with time in spite of being in the case all that time.
