I saw something on the web for CMD+F1 but couldn't get this to work on Catalina with Touch Bar even if I press FN+CMD+F1.
Surely there must be a faster way to do this than Settings > Displays >> arrangement >> Click on Mirror Displays... :(
That's like 4 clicks minimum for every toggle!

Thanks for your response again. The shortcut for Brightness down did not work :(
BUT - I found a better solution - an app Fabian Canas which toggles the mode. I've put it on my dock or you can trigger it via spotlight. Works flawlessly !

Since you do not have the brightness down button to use the default keyboard shortcut for Mirror Displays, you can instead create a keyboard shortcut. Learn how here: Create keyboard shortcuts for apps on Mac

Hi bailier tnx for your help. This doesn't answer my question since I'm working on a MacBook Pro 16" with the Touch Bar. There is not brightness down button just a slider which doesn't toggle mirroring with brightness. 🤷♂️😕
Any other ideas?
Really surprised this is not an already massively used feature that has a shortcut.
