Backing up a cell without unlocking its screen

To make a back up before sending my phone in for repair I will have to use the screen to enter my passcode to unlock the phone, but the LCD/pixels/digitizing layer/screen are all broken, which is the reason for the repair. Is there any way around this? I have no way to create a back up since I can't interact with the screen otherwise.
