beta testing

Hi, I’m an iOS beta tester and recently received an email asking I’d like to try out public betas. I’m wondering if this is from Apple or someone not so genuine.

The email came from the following email address: betaprogram@InsideApple.Apple.com

Can anyone tell me if this is legitimate?

iPhone 7, iOS 13

I received the email from the same address, this is an exact header from the raw email:

From: Apple Beta Software Program <betaprogram@insideapple.apple.com>

The email is also DKIM signed and it passes Gmail's DKIM verification (DKIM: 'PASS' with domain insideapple.apple.com), giving us a very high degree of certainty that the sender address is not forged.

Doubtful it's legit.

Apple would never use such a mangled address.

I received the same email 4 hours ago. I think it's legit, as there aren't any obvious malicious links in mine. It makes sense that Apple would send this email at this time, as new betas of macOS and watchOS were released recently. If you're in any way unsure about it, just delete the email and don't click on anything in it. You can still visit the Apple Beta Software Program website manually at any time.
