Does the keyboard detach from the case?
Can I detach my magnetic eyboard from the case when I only want to read from my iPad?

The answer is the same. You can easily remove the iPad from the Magic Keyboard and use it like a tablet, which is one of the magical aspects of the keyboard. But the keyboard does not detach from the case, nor can it operate as a keyboard, unless the iPad is attached to the keyboard.

It could be.
So to answer the OP question then no, the keyboard does not detach from the case with either the Smart Keyboard or magic keyboard, the keyboard and case are one part and as Lobster said they are designed to removable quickly but as one piece rather than just the keyboard on it's own
It could also be the Smart Folio, which attaches magnetically. In either case, they are both designed to permit the user to quickly remove the iPad to be used in tablet mode and easily placed back when the user wants to type.
You can do whatever you want with your iPad when you don't need to type using your keyboard.
I am not aware of any keyboards which are called - magnetic keyboard.
Do you mean the magic keyboard with trackpad?
Which keyboard case you talking about?
Hi,
I have the magnetic keyboard.
It is the magic keyboard
As I said above, the keyboard can not be removed from the case, the case and keyboard is one part, this is because of the smart connectors and how the keyboard attaches to the iPad.
As Lobster said the magic keyboard - keyboard and case - can be easily removed in one go.
