Hello Apple Inc. I would like to ask something about system memory usage in Iphone. Right now, I’m using iPhone 5s with 16gb memory, i really scared that if i Update my O.S. I didn’t have enough memory, can i ask nearest iBox to clear the eld ones?

So currently Apple has been reccomend me to upate my phone to O.S. 12.4.8 which what is compatible in my iPhone 5s. I was buying 16gb memory for my phone and Apple reccomend me to update my phone. I scared if I update my phone it will eat my memory usage and I can’t to download any apps again, because it cost me 1,4 gb memory. This past fewe days I checked my iPhone storage and the biggest thing that eaten my memory usage was the system memory, if I go to the nearest iBox, can they erase the system memory usage that i don’t use it anymore? Or in this new Update they deleted the old system and download the new system? Thanks for the QnA feature on your website it helps me alot.

Updating can help to reindex your data to help clear up some of the Other and System storage. While you're able to visit a service center for software related issues, you can likely save a trip. We do encourage you to back up your iPhone, then update the software and apps: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
