IPhone 8 not receiving calls

I cannot receive calls on my iPhone 8. What could be the problem? Is there something in the settings that is not right?

Do you have Do Not Disturb Mode enabled?

Thank you for your response. My ‘do not disturb‘ mode is not enabled. Talking to an expert he tells me either my SIM card needs replacing or my service provider has accidentally barred all Incoming calls. Trying to call them for the past 2 days but no response. Another Covid excuse for not responding I guess.
