Ive recently changed my email address for Apple ID, the new email address has updated in the store, ITunes etc..but not in the “Apple ID” page on my phone.
This is stopping me from completing the “Update Apple ID Settings” as I keep receiving “Unknown Error” message when I try to log in.

Have you tried signing out of Settings/Your Name/iCloud, restarting, and signing back in with the new ID?
