Is there any easy way to convert pictures taken with your iPhone that are now HEIC formatted photos to others in JPG format they can open?

HEIC photos converting to JPEG I am wondering if there is a way to convert my iphone photos (which are shot in HEIC) to JPG as I'm putting them on my MAC instead of having to take the extra steps to convert them once they are already on my computer, then delete the duplicates. Any ideas? I do have the latest operating systems on both my phone and my computer. TIA! Danielle

Convert HEIC photo format to JPEG and retain original photo info including Date Taken It seems my iPhone photos which are stored in the cloud are in HEIC format when i want to use from my iMac. I am trying to do an online photo album but their software does not recognise HEIC. I need to convert the photos back to JPEG keeping the original photo data such as 'Date Taken' so i can sort by .. From HEIC to JPEG I have an iPhone 12 Pro. After taking a thousand photos, I decided to transfer them to computers running Windows 10. But these are incompatible by format. I have now set the camera to “more compatible” but the previous photos are always in heic. How do I turn them into jpegs all together? It would be absurd to use a third-party program to convert them one by one (eg Photoshop express). Thank you
