how can I delete specific photos from an album, not just remove...

It seems in Photos there is no longer an option to delete a photo from an album/your library. The option seems only to be "remove from album". I want to get rid of a bunch of photos. What can I do?

The menus have been changed slightly in Photos 5 on Catalina. When you are only seeing "Remove from Album" in the Image menu or the contextual menu, hold down the command key ⌘ and "Remove from album" will change to "Delete Photo".

Or simply use the key combination command-delete ⌘⌫ when you want to delete a selected photo. This key combination is still working to delete photos everywhere, without asking, if you are sure.
