Problem with Recent Security Update 2020-04 for High Sierra

Try to do my update and it doesn't want to restart, instead keep having this popup saying: "Available updates have changed - Click show details to see the available updates" start again the same process in a round robin!

i have a 2011 iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6

Security update 2020-005-10.13.6 hangs when attempting to apply update. My my mid 2011 iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6 hangs when attempting to apply this update. Restart leads to black screen with white cursor in top left corner for unlimited amount of time. Shutdown with power button and restart resumes regular use, but update is still not installed. I've tried safe mode without success. Apple Support says "legacy systems" need help from authorized service provider, or from internet. Any ideas? Any way to download the file and apply manually? Security update 2020-006 failed to install After updating with the above described security update the restart of my Mac (Mid 2010 - High Sierra) failed. It ended up with a black screen and showing the cursor only. Manual restart does not install the security update. Any suggestions?

Try downloading the standalone update from here,

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2046?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Once downloaded double-click to install.
